Sustainable Energy Processes is a subject offered by KTU, Kerala for the seventh semester of the 2019 schema. This subject aims to provide students with an understanding of the various sustainable energy sources and their conversion processes. The syllabus consists of six modules, each covering a different aspect of sustainable energy.

Module 1 introduces the concept of sustainable energy and its importance in today's world. It covers the basic principles of energy conversion and the various types of sustainable energy sources, including solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal energy.

Module 2 focuses on solar energy and its conversion processes. It covers the working principles of solar cells and the different types of solar cells available. Students will also learn about the design and installation of solar energy systems.

Module 3 deals with wind energy and its conversion processes. It covers the working principles of wind turbines and the different types of wind turbines available. Students will also learn about the design and installation of wind energy systems.

Module 4 covers hydro energy and its conversion processes. It covers the working principles of hydro turbines and the different types of hydro turbines available. Students will also learn about the design and installation of hydro energy systems.

Module 5 focuses on geothermal energy and its conversion processes. It covers the working principles of geothermal power plants and the different types of geothermal power plants available. Students will also learn about the design and installation of geothermal energy systems
