Robotics is an exciting and rapidly growing field that combines mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science to create intelligent machines that can perform tasks autonomously. At KTU, Kerala, students can take a course in Robotics that covers a wide range of topics related to the design, construction, and programming of robots. The course is divided into several modules, including Module 1, Module 2, Module 3, Module 4, Module 5, Module 5.1, Module 6, Module 5/6, and Short Notes, each of which focuses on a specific aspect of robotics.

In Module 1, students learn about the basics of robotics, including the history of robotics, the different types of robots, and the components that make up a robot. Module 2 covers the mechanical design of robots, including the different types of actuators and sensors that are used in robotics. In Module 3, students learn about the electrical and electronic components of robots, including motors, power supplies, and microcontrollers.

Module 4 covers the programming of robots, including the different programming languages that are used in robotics, such as C++, Python, and MATLAB. In Module 5, students learn about the different types of sensors that are used in robotics, including proximity sensors, light sensors, and temperature sensors. Module 5.1 focuses specifically on vision sensors, which are used to give robots the ability to see and recognize objects
