Select your KTU B.Tech POWER SYSTEM ANALYSIS Notes from the following list of modules.

Power System Analysis is a crucial subject for electrical engineering students, as it deals with the study of power systems and their components. The subject is offered in the seventh semester of the Bachelor of Technology program at Kerala Technical University (KTU), Kerala. The syllabus of the subject is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of power systems and their analysis. The subject comprises six modules, namely Module 1, Module 2, Module 3, Module 4, Module 5, and Module 6.

Module 1 covers the basics of power systems, including the different types of power systems, their components, and their operation. Module 2 deals with the analysis of power systems under steady-state conditions, including load flow analysis and economic dispatch. Module 3 focuses on the analysis of power systems under transient conditions, including fault analysis and stability analysis. Module 4 covers the different types of power system protection, including overcurrent protection, differential protection, and distance protection.

Module 5 deals with the different types of power system control, including voltage control, frequency control, and reactive power control. Finally, Module 6 covers the different types of power system operation and planning, including power system operation and control, power system planning, and power system reliability.

By the end of the course, students will have gained a thorough understanding of power systems and their components, as well as the ability to analyze and design power systems under different conditions
