Microprocessors and Microcontrollers is a subject that is offered to the students of KTU, Kerala. This subject is a part of the 2019 schema and is taught in the seventh semester. The subject contains six modules, namely Module 1, Module 2, Module 3, Module 4, Module 5, and Module 6. The subject is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of microprocessors and microcontrollers, their architecture, programming, and interfacing. The subject also covers topics related to the use of microprocessors and microcontrollers in various applications such as control systems, robotics, and automation.
Module 1 of the subject covers the basics of microprocessors and microcontrollers, their architecture, and programming. Students will learn about the various types of microprocessors and microcontrollers, their features, and the differences between them. They will also learn about the different types of memory used in microprocessors and microcontrollers, and how to interface them with other devices.
Module 2 of the subject covers the programming of microprocessors and microcontrollers using assembly language. Students will learn about the different types of instructions used in assembly language programming, and how to write programs for microprocessors and microcontrollers using assembly language.
Module 3 of the subject covers the programming of microprocessors and microcontrollers using C language. Students will learn about the different types of data types used in C language programming, and how to write programs for microprocessors and microcontrollers using C language
