Logic Circuit Design is a subject that is offered to students in the seventh semester of their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program at Kerala Technical University (KTU). The subject is a part of the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch and is designed to teach students about the design and analysis of digital circuits. The subject is divided into six modules, namely Module 1, Module 2, Module 3, Module 4, Module 5 & 6, and Full Notes. Each module covers a different aspect of digital circuit design, starting from the basics of Boolean algebra and logic gates to more advanced topics such as sequential circuits and memory devices.

In Module 1, students will learn about the fundamentals of digital circuits, including Boolean algebra, logic gates, and combinational circuits. Module 2 covers the design and analysis of combinational circuits, including adders, subtractors, and multiplexers. Module 3 focuses on sequential circuits, including flip-flops, registers, and counters. In Module 4, students will learn about memory devices such as RAM and ROM. Module 5 & 6 cover advanced topics such as programmable logic devices, digital signal processing, and microprocessors.

The subject is an essential part of the ECE curriculum, as it provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge to design and analyze digital circuits
