Life Skills is a subject that is offered to students at Kerala Technical University (KTU) in Kerala, India. The subject is designed to help students develop essential life skills that will enable them to succeed in their personal and professional lives. The subject is divided into five modules, each of which covers a different aspect of life skills. These modules include Module 1: Introduction to Life Skills, Module 2: Communication Skills, Module 3: Interpersonal Skills, Module 4: Leadership Skills, and Module 5: Career Planning and Development.
In Module 1, students will learn about the importance of life skills and how they can be applied in various aspects of life. They will also learn about the different types of life skills and how they can be developed. Module 2 focuses on communication skills, including verbal and nonverbal communication, listening skills, and effective communication strategies. In Module 3, students will learn about interpersonal skills, including empathy, conflict resolution, and teamwork. Module 4 covers leadership skills, including decision-making, problem-solving, and goal-setting. Finally, Module 5 focuses on career planning and development, including job search strategies, resume writing, and interview skills.
