Human Relations Management is an elective subject offered at KTU, Kerala. This subject is designed to help students understand human behavior and relations in groups, as well as the management of human relations in organizations. The subject is divided into six modules, with each module covering different aspects of human relations management. Module 1 focuses on human behavior, while module 2 covers human behavior and relations in groups. Module 3 deals with the management of human relations in organizations, while modules 4, 5, and 6 cover various aspects of HRM.

In module 1, students will learn about the various theories of human behavior, including Maslow's hierarchy of needs, Herzberg's two-factor theory, and McGregor's Theory X and Theory Y. They will also learn about the different types of personality and how they affect behavior. Module 2 builds on this knowledge by exploring the dynamics of group behavior and the different types of groups that exist in organizations. Students will learn about the stages of group development and how to manage conflicts within groups.

Module 3 focuses on the management of human relations in organizations. Students will learn about the different approaches to managing human resources, including the traditional approach, the human relations approach, and the human resource approach. They will also learn about the different functions of HRM, including recruitment, selection, training, and development.
