Computer Aided Civil Engineering Lab is a subject offered by KTU, Kerala, which is designed to provide students with a practical understanding of the application of computer-aided tools in civil engineering. The subject is offered in the seventh semester of the 2015 scheme and covers a wide range of modules such as BIM Internship, Analog Circuits, Analog Electronics, and Basics of Civil Engineering.
The BIM Internship module is designed to provide students with an understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its application in the construction industry. Students will learn how to use BIM software to create 3D models of buildings and how to analyze the data generated by these models.
Analog Circuits and Analog Electronics modules cover the basics of analog circuits and electronics, including the design and analysis of circuits using diodes, transistors, and operational amplifiers. Students will learn how to design and analyze circuits using different circuit components and how to use simulation software to test their designs.
Basics of Civil Engineering module provides students with an understanding of the fundamental principles of civil engineering, including the design and construction of structures, materials used in construction, and the properties of soils. Students will learn how to apply these principles to solve real-world engineering problems.
