Business Economics is a subject that deals with the application of economic principles in the business world. This subject is offered to students in the seventh semester of their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program at the Kerala Technological University (KTU). The syllabus for this subject is based on the 2019 schema and is divided into six modules. The modules cover a wide range of topics such as the principles of management, basics of civil engineering, computer networks, compiler design, and disaster management.
Module 1 of Business Economics focuses on the principles of management and covers topics such as planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. Module 2 deals with the basics of civil engineering and covers topics such as surveying, building materials, and construction. Module 3 covers computer networks and introduces students to the basics of networking, network protocols, and network security. Module 4 covers compiler design and teaches students about lexical analysis, syntax analysis, and code generation. Module 5 covers disaster management and teaches students about disaster prevention, mitigation, and response. Finally, Module 6 covers the constitution of India and introduces students to the Indian legal system.
